Fair Credit Reporting Act
Employers who have their prospective employees screened by professional screening firms such as interactiveinfo.net are Users of Consumer Reports and are regulated by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).  Employers have certain responsibilities ensuring your rights including the following:
  • Provide you with written notification that a Consumer Report may be ordered on you.

  3. Provide you with a copy of Summary of Consumer's Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act form.
  4. Provide you with a means for disputing incorrect information contained in the Consumer Report.
  • Ensure that only authorized personnel involved in the evaluation and job offer process have access to your Consumer Report.
  • Ensure your privacy of required employment screening information and non-disclosure of your Consumer Report information.
